The competitive funding initiative provides money to help schools jumpstart and sustain healthy nutrition and physical activity improvements. Any U.S. school can enroll in the free program and thus be eligible to apply for up to $4,000 to help increase access to and consumption of nutrient-rich foods and participation in physical activity opportunities for students.
