This report, published by Urban Institute in partnership with Feeding America,  paints a disturbing picture of ways that food insecurity may affect American youth and threaten their well-being. Focusing on adolescents ages 13-18, the report illustrates the lengths to which some of the most desperate and food-insecure youth are willing to go to survive when there are few options available to them. It also delves into how the National School Lunch Program is and is not meeting these teens' needs.
