Instructions

Pre-Preparation

1. Destem pears then cut into half or quarters depending on the size.
2. Mince the ginger.

Preparation

1. Put the pears in a tilt skillet.
2. Add water and ginger.
3. Bring to a boil, simmer for 1 hour.
4. Using a burr mixer, puree the pears in the skillet.
5. Add the butter, sugar, and spices.
6. Cook for 20 minutes until everything is melted and dissolved.
7. Strain through a china cap.

Serving
