The Colorado Food Systems Advisory Council recently published their new White Paper about universal free school meals. The report discusses the impact universal free meals would have on K12 students and steps that can be taken by the state of Colorado to help move towards this model. The report concluded that more robust funding structure must be put into place for universal school meals to address the inadequacies of traditional and CEP funding models.
